Typical of Pillitteri Carretto Cabernet Franc Icewine, distinctive aromas of raspberry jam, ripe strawberries and sweet cherries dominate the nose. Subtle undertones of figs, maple syrup, and cranberries can also be found. On the palate, it shows lots of enamel and extract, with strawberry compote, cherry juice and cranberries. The usual acidity of red ice wine is well integrated and balances the luscious sweetness. Overall, a characterful ice wine with a velvety, long-lasting finish.
