Lobster Roll

Ingredients

For the Filling

  • 750 g Freshly cooked lobster meat, cut into small pieces, chilled
  • 200 grams mayonnaise
  • 125 g celery, in small cubes
  • 50g red onion, cut into small cubes
  • 4 tbsp spring onions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp coarse-grained mustard
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • salt

For the Rolls

  • Burger or hot dog buns
  • melted butter

Preparation

Mix all ingredients except the lobster thoroughly in a large bowl. Then very carefully fold the cooked and cooled lobster meat into the mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Preheat the BBQ grill, brush the burger or hot dog rolls with melted butter and place them upside down on the grill — be careful, the rolls burn quickly! Alternatively, the rolls can be toasted in the oven or in a pan.

Pour the chilled lobster mixture directly onto the freshly toasted rolls in equal parts.
