The Pillitteri Riserva Famiglia Corvina Appassimento is a very complex wine with distinct ripe notes and lots of body, but it has also retained its primary fruity aromas. A complex scent of figs, ripe red plums, dried violets, soil, tobacco leaves, cherry brandy and canned red fruits literally explodes out of the glass.
