Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 110 g butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 150 g 47° North maple sugar
- 80 ml 47° North maple syrup (DARK)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk butter and maple sugar with a hand mixer until frothy for 3-4 minutes.
- Add maple syrup, egg and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
- Slowly add the flour mixture and mix together.
- Form balls about the size of a walnut with your hands.
- Place the dough balls on the baking tray and bake for about 8-10 minutes.
- Let cookies cool down and enjoy!
