Our English Pale Mild is a tribute to George W.C. Oland's resilience. After the Moosehead Brewery was destroyed in the explosion in the port of Halifax in 1917, he vowed to rebuild his brewery.
As a born entrepreneur, George W.C. led the beer industry on Canada's Old Antique Coast for more than 40 years and helped it regain its former strength, from which it still benefits today.
